# ⬆️ – Update

We regularly provide the Lab with new features. Whenever a new version is available you'll receive an email with a time period in which you can update the Lab yourself. After this period the Lab will be automatically updated to the newest version.
The charger connections will remain stable during the update. If you're using the Lab to forward data to another system, some messages might be missed if they are send right during the update period but otherwise there is no risk.
